Harvest Joy™ is valued for producing generous yields of large, flavorful olives. For optimal fruit set, it is advisable to plant this variety alongside another olive type, as its pollination needs are not fully confirmed. Since olives rely on wind for pollination, plant trees within 20 feet of each other. Hand-pollination can be aided by transferring pollen between flowers with a small brush. This tree endures temperatures down to 10°F and typically reaches 8-10 feet tall within 2-3 years. It thrives in warm, sheltered spots with at least half a day of sunlight and well-drained soil. Harvest occurs from October to November.
